Oh My GODNESS....

Look what my FIL just gave me... I am ONE LUCKY GIRL!!!

I think there must be about 400 of the cotton embroidery floss...

Plus another 500 or so of the Tapestry Wool...

When Nath was just a wee-een, his parents owned a hobby store, these threads have been stored in their garage for some years... and now they are mine YAH!!!

SO I MUST GIVE SOME AWAY... make a comment on this post (by 11.24am, my time... 13th October - Joshies 1 month bday). Tell me what it is you enjoy about scrapping classes, or what you'd like to learn in a scrapping class? Even if you are not a "scrapper"... I am sure you have an opinion...

Come on all ya lurkers, I'd *love* for you to "de-lurk" yourself!

Gosh you could bathe yourself in that!!
I've only ever attended 1 class and that was to make a mini album from scratch, took me over 12 months to finish it!! Although classes don't really get a look in in my life, due to time etc, classes like that would be of interest.

Wow......this is too cool!!!!! What a lot of thread......love it!!!

Classes....never went to one... but what I would love to learn is the transfer technique with tape..... Not really a normal scrapbookclass thing, but I think it's awesome!

How pretty are those piles???
As far as the classes - I really like when I have something completed to walk away with - I know that is hard to do sometimes - but I like to feel like I something is done - even if it is just a card or tag - maybe to show a technique or to be added to a bigger part of the project later.

i'm so loving that delicious heap of gorgeous colours!!!
i think what i like most about the scrapbooking classes i've done is that i get to try out all sorts of neat little gadgets i simply can't afford to own all of ;-)
AND of course...the company's always lovely.

I'd love to learn!!!!
I do learn, everytime I look here or on several other blogs and sites. But I'm addicted to fabrics and threads. I could jump into that picture and feel like I'm in heaven with all those glorious colors. yummmmm

I would love to spend an entire day scrapping with you because you inspire me with all your awesome challenge pieces. And I'd love to have it be a play date with Mikaela cuz she looks like she'd be great fun to gets creative with. I love creative play dates with children more than anything because their so open and free, they haven't learned to hear their inner critic yet.

I also want to say that I just read your wish jar post and I'm off to make myself one,,,,what a great idea.

Thank you for being so inspiring,
Sheila

WOW! you shouldn't have a problem finding all the right floss when you pick up a pattern next time. With a stash like that there's bound to be even the uncommon colors among them. Thanks for sharing, it was nice to see though I think I might be a little jealous...LOL
As for scrapbooking class, I'd love to take one with creative uses of stamps. A demonstration and hands on thing.

I've never been to a scrapping class and I'm not much of a scrapper. If I was to take a scrapping class, I'd like to learn techniques that I could apply to other projects like cards or bookmarks rather than specifically to scrapbooks.

OMG look at all those beautiful threads?? And they were stored away??
You lucky girl!!

What I like about scrapbook classes is teaching people something new, the aha thing, people being happy with the end result, happy chatting..
And when i attend a class I just love everything about it, learning something new, chatting with the girls, making something lovely..
all of it.
